A 30-year-old man is wanted for a stabbing at the Pickering GO station early Monday.
Durham Regional Police say officers responded to a call for “an armed person” at the GO station located at 1322 Bayly St. – near Liverpool Rd. – just after midnight.
The victim was walking to their car in the parking lot when the assailant approached them and stabbed them, Const. Emily Mitchell said in a statement released Wednesday.
She said the assailant then fled before officers arrived.

The victim was taken to hospital and treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Investigators subsequently identified a suspect in the stabbing and they have released his photo, who was previously known to police, hoping members of the public can help track him down.
Corey Voskamp, 30, of no fixed address, is wanted for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of weapon – dangerous to public peace and four counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
He’s described as white, about 5-foot-10, with a slim build and short brown hair.
“Voskamp is known to ride the GO train between Oshawa and Oakville,” Mitchell said.
If you see this male, do not approach and call 911 immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous.
