Man dead after stabbing incident in Brampton

A man is dead after being stabbed Saturday afternoon in Brampton, police say.

According to Peel Regional Police, officers were called at 3 p.m. to the area of Chadwick St. and Lockwood Rd., near Chinguacouy Rd. and Queen St. W., where they located a man in his 30s with critical injuries.

In a later update, cops said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect information has been released by police. The investigation is ongoing.

Police are advising the public to stay away from the area.
