Cops identify stranger sought in assault at Broadview TTC station
Police believed accused might be responsible for three separate incidents

Cops have identified a suspect after an unprovoked stranger assault at Broadview Station — and now say the acused might be responsible for two additional assaults.
Toronto Police said they received a call for an assault at the TTC station in the Danforth and Broadview Aves. area on June 5 at 2:24 p.m.
Police allege a man was inside the station when, unprovoked, he assaulted the victim before fleeing the scene.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim — whose age and gender were not released — and the accused are not known to each other, police said.
In an update on Monday afternoon, cops provided details about two other similar incidents.
Officers responded on Thursday, Feb. 27 for an assault call in the Broadview Ave.-Gerrard St. E. area.
Cops alleged that a mal suspect and female victim were on a TTC streetcar when the accused allegedly assaulted the victim after a brief verbal exchange, then fled the scene.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim and suspect are not know to each other.

On Tuesday, Jan. 28, police said they responded to an assault call at Woodbine Station in the Danforth and Woodbine Aves. area.
Police alleged that a male suspect and female victim were on a TTC. As the victim exited the bus, police alleged that she was assaulted by the suspect, who then fled the scene.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim and suspect are not know to each other.
On Monday afternoon, police identified the accused as Mussie Woldemariam, 61, of Toronto.
He is wanted for three counts of assault and three counts of breach of probation.
The suspect is described as in his 50s and 6-foot-2 with a medium build. He was wearing a red golf shirt, a black rain jacket and brown cargo pants.
