One dead, one wounded in Brampton shooting

One person is dead and another in hospital after a shooting in Brampton on Tuesday night.
Peel Regional Police say they were called to a home on Bayhampton Drive, in the Castlemore Rd. and Goreway Dr. area, around 8:40 p.m. for reports of gunshots.

Officers found “two victims that had been shot.”
One person died at the scene while the second was taken to a trauma centre. Their injuries have been deemed non-life-threatening.
Police say it “is believed to be an isolated incident.”
No other information was immediately provided.
