Police are seeking the public’s assistance regarding an incident of animal cruelty in the Verner area.
Nipissing West OPP said officers began investigating Saturday after three deceased Great Pyrenees dogs — which had been shot — were found abandoned in a ditch off Deer Lake Road.

Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) involved in the destruction and abandoning of these animals.
