A student was seriously injured in a stabbing outside of a Scarborough high school on Thursday afternoon.
Toronto Police say they received reports of a student who was “attacked” outside David and Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute, near Lawrence and Midland Aves., around 1:30 p.m.

This is the latest incident of violence at the troubled school in recent memory.
Last December, two people were taken into custody following reports of a person with a gun inside the school. Cops searched the school and found a replica firearm.
And in September 2022, a boy – 14 at the time – was charged with murder and attempted murder after what police describe as an execution-style shooting of Jahiem Robinson, 18, inside the school.
