Three teenage boys were wounded when gunfire erupted in Riverdale Friday night.

Toronto Police say the gunshots rang out in a residential neighbourhood near Jones and Strathcona Aves., south of Danforth Ave., just before 10:45 p.m.

Officers responded to the area and located two youths who had been shot.

One boy was rushed to hospital via an emergency run, police said on X. The other was transported to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

A third victim was found soon after and taken to hospital. Police said that boy’s injuries were also not considered life-threatening.

No descriptions of the shooters have been released, but police believe they fled the area in a vehicle.
