Toronto man sought in hammer attack during argument arrested

Three weeks after a hammer attack sent a man to hospital, Toronto Police have made an arrest.
According to cops, on Aug. 3 around 9:10 a.m., officers were called about unknown trouble in the Queen St. W. and King St. W. area.

Police say the suspect and victim got into an argument and the suspect assaulted the victim with a hammer.
The victim fled the scene and went to hospital with serious injuries.
No other information on the victim was provided.
In a press release on Monday, cops said Warren Dwyer, 44, of Toronto, was arrested Sunday.
He is charged with attempt murder and assault with a weapon.
