Two teens from the GTA have been charged by York Regional Police, who also seized a firearm and ammunition, after a probe into a series of armed home invasions and carjackings across York, Peel and Toronto.
The investigation – dubbed Project Gamer – was launched after an April 5 incident during which multiple people, at least one armed with a handgun, allegedly attempted to carjack a Ferrari in Richmond Hill.
Cops claim the carjackers were unsuccessful in obtaining the keys and fled the scene in a black Land Rover, which had been reported stolen from Peel Region on April 1.
On June 12, four search warrants were executed at residences in Peel and two suspects were arrested. A loaded firearm, an extended magazine with ammunition, a replica firearm and keys to the stolen Land Rover were also allegedly seized.

Myles Tessier, 18, of Mississauga, is charged with possession of a prohibited device or ammunition and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Anthony Low, 19, of Brampton, is charged with possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, possession of a prohibited device for a dangerous purpose, possession of a firearm while prohibited and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Investigators released images of the accused out of concern for the possibility they may be connected to other violent crimes.
