Investigators need help tracking down two men sought for a knifepoint carjacking in Mississauga last week.
Peel Regional Police say the victim arrived home in a luxury vehicle in the area of Hurontario St. and Lakeshore Rd. shortly before 6 p.m. on June 19.
As he exited the vehicle, two men approached and demanded the keys, police said Wednesday, adding one of the carjackers was “armed with a knife.”
“Fearing for his safety, the victim complied,” police said, explaining one carjacker hopped in the victim’s vehicle while the other returned to the “stolen vehicle” the pair arrived in.

Both carjackers then drove off.
“The victim was not physically injured,” police said.

Investigators have now released images of two suspects hoping members of the public will recognize them and come forward.
One man is described as white, about six feet tall, with a medium build and short brown hair.
The second man is 5-foot-9 with a light complexion and a medium build.
Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of either suspect is urged to call the Central Robbery Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3410, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
