“EMS and police attended a hotel room to find a woman who had been stabbed, and unfortunately she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased by EMS. We are in the preliminary stages of the investigation but we believe it was an isolated incident and the suspect is still outstanding,” Const. Richard Chin told media at the scene.
“We are still investigating the nature of the events. The victim and suspect are known to each other, but it wasn’t an intimate relationship.”
Police didn’t disclose what the woman was doing in the room or the description of the suspect.
