Woman stabbed in random attack at Oakville GO station: Cops

A woman was randomly stabbed in the back at the Oakville GO Transit Station on Sunday afternoon.
Halton Regional Police were called at 12:50 p.m. to the Oakville GO transit station, located at 214 Cross Ave., for reports of a stabbing.

The woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers located a suspect and arrested him.
Matthew Valley, 23, of no fixed address, has been charged with attempted murder and breach of probation.
Police said the victim is not known to the accused.
