Bawdy Brit prison guard pleads guilty to sex with jailbird behind bars

Blond beauty Megan Breen tasted forbidden fruit behind prison walls after embarking on a torrid affair with a jailbird.

And now she’s discovered the bitter aftertaste.

The 23-year-old British corrections officer pleaded guilty to sordid sexual encounters with the unnamed prisoner at two different jails. The “inappropriate relationship” lasted more than three months.

Breen had been employed at His Majesty’s Prison Usk and His Majesty’s Prison Prescoed. Both jails are in Gwent, South Wales.

Initially, Breen had denied the hormone-charged hijinks, but late Monday she changed her plea to guilty. Charges of illegally accessing a computer were dropped. She was given bail but warned she faces prison when she is sentenced in September.

The charge states that Breen — while acting as a public officer — “wilfully and without reasonable excuse or justification” committed to misconduct that “amounted to an abuse of the public’s trust” by having a “sexual relationship with a prisoner.”

Both prisons are rated minimum security.

Prisons and the justice system in the United Kingdom have been awash in illicit sex scandals involving female guards and probation officers and mostly male prisoners. Over the past three years, 29 female guards have been fired for having sex with convicts.

Probation officer Leonie Wilkinson, 27, enjoyed a sexual fling with career criminal Gary Hampson, 26, while he was caged at HMP Preston, Lancs. They had dated as teenagers and rekindled the flame while he was behind bars.

Officials said the relationship was focused on phone sex and saucy texts, and their encounters never became “physical or sexual.” Wilkinson faces jail.

In June, rookie prison guard Megann Gibson was convicted of having frequent phone sex with an inmate and then flooded his mother with more than 900 messages to keep their illicit affair rolling. Gibson was working at HM Prison Wealstun in West Yorkshire when she became smitten with the jailbird.

Now, Gibson herself is facing prison after she pleaded guilty to misconduct in public office. She also copped to possession of cannabis. The former guard is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.

“You may well be serving a prison sentence,” she was warned by the judge.

In May, guard Morgan Farr Varney, 24, was imprisoned after she was nabbed sneaking into a cupboard with an inmate she had fallen in love with. Varney was caught when her antics showed up on CCTV footage. She later admitted she had “f***** up her life.” Varney was jailed for 10 months.

Single mom Katie Evans, 26, was jailed for a jailhouse tryst with convicted robber Daniel Brownley while working at HMP Doncaster. Her downfall came when she boasted to a fellow officer that she performed oral sex on Brownley multiple times and collected drug money on his behalf over six months in 2020.

Katerina Tatus was busted after a fellow officer dropped a dime on her alleged amorous antics. She worked at HMS Feltham Penitentiary.

But the rock star is former guard, dedicated swinger and OnlyFans model Linda de Sousa Abreu. She was jailed for 15 months after she was videotaped having sex in a jail cell with a career criminal. She was working as a prison officer at HMS Wandsworth at the time.

Her torrid tryst with career criminal Linton Weirich was filmed by another jailbird who was smoking marijuana as the action unfolded.

The 30-year-old married guard had sex with Weirich three times over several days. The raunchy footage soon hit the internet, and Abreu tried to flee the country.

Judge Martin Edmunds sentenced the sobbing Abreu to 15 months in prison, saying she was an “enthusiastic participant” in the wild sexual encounter.

Before becoming a guard, Abreu moonlighted as an OnlyFans model. At the time, Abreu claimed she “felt like a gangster” during sex with the jailbird and that she “loved” him.
