Female gym teacher charged for sex crimes with two teen girls, boy

A female British gym teacher allegedly used two teen girls and a boy as her sexual playthings.

According to cops, Bronwen James, 29, is now charged with 13 sex-related offences over three years.

James had been a gym teacher and coach at the Hardenhuish School in Chippenham, Wiltshire, and Bitterne Park School in Southampton, Hampshire.

Charges against the alleged predator include three counts of sexual activity with two girls aged 13 and 15, and four counts of adult abusing a position of trust by engaging in sexual activity with a boy whom British media identified as being 16 years old.

In addition, she also allegedly made an indecent image of a child and had sexual communications with the girls. The charge sheet accuses her of having sex with one girl starting when she was 14.

She allegedly had sex with the boy on four different occasions.

The charges relate to alleged offences in Titchfield and Fareham in Hampshire, Chippenham in Wiltshire, and Alton in Staffordshire.

She appeared in court on Wednesday wearing a matching beige waistcoat and pants. James spoke only to confirm her name, age and address. She was then released on bail with conditions.

Under the conditions, she is not allowed to have contact with the three alleged victims and can’t she have unsupervised contact with any child under 16.

“In summary, this is going to be sent to the Crown Court,” Chief Magistrate Stephen Harrison said. “The first step is Thursday, August 7, for a plea and trial preparation hearing. In the interim, you are granted conditional bail.”
