During his departure from Helsinki, Finland, on Thursday, the President is seen greeting embassy staffers and their families before boarding Air Force One when he leans into a girl being held by her mother and makes chomping gestures towards her before smooching the toddler’s shoulder.
The startled girl appears to find it funny – at first – but perhaps her young female instincts kicked in and something inside her whispered, “Yo, dude, boundaries.”
The girl’s mother is seen scrambling for her phone to take a photo of the encounter, but the horrified youngster is already over it and turns away from the puckering POTUS.
Twitter was also weirded out by the entire incident after footage quickly made the rounds.
“This has got to be Biden’s creepiest moment yet with a child,” Balistic Social’s Caleb Hull wrote, adding in another tweet, “All Biden has to do is not do this and he can’t.”

One user tweeted, “At first it seems playful but what does he do? Goes in for the sniff. Who does that? Not normal people.”
Another added: “As a mom in grandma age range, I want to scoop EVERY baby up and snuggle… but I don’t because it’s creepy.”
Donald Trump Jr. retweeted the video with the caption, “Biden should be in a nursing home, not leading the free world.”
During the trip, Biden also committed a number of gaffes during various speeches, which included confusing Russia and Ukraine, their respective leaders, as well as Iceland and Ireland.
Earlier on Thursday, Biden referred to Icelandic Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir as a “daughter of Ireland,” before catching his slip-up.
Then, at another event following the summit, Biden confused the two nations, referring to Ukraine as Russia.
“Russia could end this war tomorrow by withdrawing its forces from Ukraine and recognizing its international borders and ceasing its attacks – its inhumane attacks – on Russia … I mean by Russia on Ukraine,” Biden corrected.
