Move over Alisha Lehmann, there’s a new “sexiest footballer,” according to fans on social media.
Alice Sondergaard, a Swedish striker, transferred to Genoa of Serie A earlier in July and posed for photos that Genoa posted to its Instagram page.

The reaction was enthusiastic, with supporters saying Sondergaard has replaced Lehmann, a Swiss forward who plays for new Genoa rival Juventus (Genoa was recently promoted to Serie A).
“It’s official, the most beautiful footballer alive,” said one Instagram user.
Another said: “Always been a fan of Genoa.”
More than a pretty face, Sondergaard was called up to play for Sweden at just 15.
She previously played for Bologna and Verona.
She has some work to do to catch up to Lehmann in terms of online popularity, though. Lehmann has nearly 17 million followers on Instagram and 12 million on TikTok. She has been on and off with Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz since 2021 and previously dated Swiss national team teammate Ramona Bachmann.
Lehmann was given her own bodyguard at the Women’s Euros due to her significant popularity, according to the Daily Mail, because so many people approach her for pictures or autographs.
