A Malton jewelry store was robbed after a pickup truck was driven into the front of the store.

On Sunday around 2:10 p.m., Peel Regional Police received a call for a robbery at Jay Santoshi Jewelers in the area of McLaughlin and Derry Rds. in Mississauga.

“Police attended the area and learned that the suspects fled prior to police arrival with an unknown quantity of merchandise,” investigators said in a statement to the Sun.
“There were no reports of physical injuries and no further information to provide at this time.”
No suspect or vehicle descriptions were provided.
